Odd way to start the morning
I have an event today, so I need to leave in a few minutes. While making breakfast this morning I decided to look and see how the strawberries are doing. Something has been eating all our ripe strawberries so on Sunday we got got bird netting to put over the berries so the birds don't eat them. Well, I went out to check on them this morning and I found a dead chipmunk tangled up in the netting.
Alvin is dead. I know I should be happy, but I really don't know how to respond to it. Mike has promised to get the animal out of the netting tonight.
BTW: All the bushes by the blackberries are dug up, just need to level off the mound of dirt than seed.
